Designed to be an exact footprint replacement for a variety of manufacturers’ products, the THHP-Series space-constrained (formally known as through-the-wall) heat pumps are both AHRI certified and DOE compliant to meet the 12 SEER, R-410A requirements. This product complies with the upcoming DOE regional standards of 12 SEER /7.4 HSPF. According to the manufacturer, the drop-in design gives cost-saving benefits, including no additional construction cost for fabrication to the exterior for a larger opening unit, no additional engineering cost because of structural changes to an exterior wall associated with a larger unit, and ability to be ducted with the direct drive blower design.
